Tere Bina was written in collaboration with Abbas Ali Khan in 1996. The song originally was written as dance track. The song was rediscovered by Ghazi in 2005 and revamped to a Hip Hop record with the help of maestro “Taha” at Taha Malik Studios. The melody lines were tweaked to resonate energy. The lyrics articulate emotions of loneliness “Tere Bina”. A trance version of Tere Bina was also written to create a more eclectic record, using sweeping arpeggios and outright mean synths. Tanhai is a remake of Fringe Benefits, mega hit track Tanhai, melded with Aao by Junaid Jumshaid. This song was selected solely to pay tribute to Fringe Benefits and Junaid Jumshaid for the awesome music they have produced in last decade. Fringe Benefits revolutionized the Pakistani dance music scene. Since Ghazi the Band is following in their footsteps, it only seems fit to recreate this track to keep that revolution going. Fringees Extreme!
Sochta Houn represents the emotions of person who has lost his way in life and is struggling to find his direction. Sochta Houn was composed by Tauseef Ghazi and Ubaid Khan in a collabortaion effort and was produced & recorded by Tauseef Ghazi at "Ghazi Studios" in Houston, Texas. The song was originally intended for the movie "Mookitab" which was not released.
Samir Hamraaz put the gloss and shine with his brilliant vocals. Hash played some funk guitars to give the track its 80's feel. The final touches were added by the perfect lyrics by Raheel Mansoor Ahmed. Sochta Houn is Ghazi the Band's first official song from the album "Faraibiyaan" to be released for download. The album is scheduled for release in the fall of 2012.
The original version was created back in 2003 as a bhangra mix to transcend the then rise of the music craze. The song carries personal sentiments that paved way to an upbeat track with a snazzy funk to correlate the now pop genre. Originally sung by Tauseef himself, this version brings his and Samir's collab to a whole new level of a production mix that brightens the origins of the song. As the title track of the album, the song underwent various phases of rehashing (literally mean that HASH disected it piece by piece), until the final version which brought the song to a complete, and defined the sound of Ghazi.
